Location

The traditional guesthouse is located in one of the most exquisite areas of west Mani, in a beautiful private complex situated around the taygetus mountain, where you can enjoy amazing views.

Location

The traditional settlement of Lagada is a picturesque village of Messinian Mani, amphitheatrically built on the slopes of a hill with an amazing view, between two large lakes, to which it owes its name, at an altitude of 440-500 m and overlooking the Messinian Gulf, and it is located between two lagadis – of Emblutsos and Vathi Lagadi–, from where it got its name.

History

The settlement, which has been officially classified as Traditional, is a genuine village of architectural aesthetics, with tower houses and houses with tiled roofs. In shaping the traditional architecture, the stone-carving masters of Mani, or “petrofaoi”, such as the craftsman Ioannis Kiskyras from Lagada in 1820, contributed.
